Specifically designed to fit Clipper® brand metal lighters, the choice of Clipper® reflects a commitment to quality and sustainability. First introduced in 1972 by Enric Sardà in Barcelona, these lighters are renowned for their wind-resistant design, refillable construction, and iconic form. For added convenience, the holder includes a jet flame lighter.
The 22" necklace is crafted with a premium braided waxed cord, offering a soft hand feel and exceptional durability. It features a matte black metal cord lock, allowing effortless adjustments for a custom fit.
*Due to shipping restrictions, lighters can only be shipped domestically via ground. International orders can still enjoy the handcrafted leather holder, though the lighter is not included.

ABOUT HORSE CULATTA
Derived from the hind section of the hide, culatta is a specialized cut that includes the area just above the prized shell cordovan, along with parts of the belly and hind shanks. This unique combination creates a leather with a dense structure, tight grain, and a medium-to-firm temper, offering exceptional durability and versatility.
What sets culatta horse leather apart is its naturally irregular texture, which varies across the hide. On the reverse (flesh) side, subtle traces of shell cordovan bleed into the fibers, creating a chaotic yet captivating appearance. These grain irregularities give each piece made from culatta its own story, ensuring that no two items are ever the same. The natural beauty of this leather shines through its imperfections, showcasing a raw elegance that resonates deeply with aficionados of avant-garde fashion and timeless craftsmanship.

Over time, you may notice a natural white residue appearing on the surface of our reverse culatta leather. This is simply the natural oils within the leather rising to the surface—a sign of its high quality and rich character. To maintain its appearance, gently buff the leather with a horsehair brush to restore its natural finish. With regular care, the leather will continue to develop a unique patina, enhancing its depth and texture over time.
